As a locally owned, not-for-profit utility, Maquoketa Municipal Electric Utility, works to support and enrich our community. Student scholarships are one of the ways we give back. Scholarship recipients are chosen based on a combination of academic achievement, financial need, educational goals, community service activities, and application responses. High school seniors are encouraged to apply for a $750 scholarship now.
